Strategic Advisory | Leadership Clarity & Facilitation | Possibility.ca

When you can see clearly, everything moves differently.

Strategic Advisory is for leaders and organizations navigating growth, complexity, and the decisions that don't have easy answers.

   What challenges are you facing?

  • Growth is exposing cracks faster than you can address them
  • You're carrying decisions no one else fully sees or understands
  • Every option feels risky because too much depends on getting it right
  • Competing priorities are crowding out the work that actually matters
  • You're tired of reacting when you'd rather be leading

You can't change what you can't see.

The challenges leaders and organizations face aren't about working harder or having better ideas. They need better visibility
Left unaddressed, these challenges compound. More stress, higher turnover, lost opportunities, and years spent firefighting instead of leading. The organization you worked so hard to build becomes harder to sustain — and the leadership role you envisioned starts to feel like a burden instead of a purpose.

Take the Diagnostic

 Clear thinking changes everything.

For leaders carrying real responsibility, it's the difference between an organization that moves and one that stalls.

We offer two ways to work together — both built on the same foundation, both designed to help you see what's invisible, align what matters, and build what's possible.

Sometimes the work starts with one leader.

Individual Advisory

This isn’t a one-time consultation, a report, or a framework handed over and left to implement alone. It's a dedicated thinking partnership — ongoing, confidential, and built around what's actually happening in your business or organization right now.

Together, we look at what's really going on, identify your highest-leverage opportunities, and design practical paths forward that keep you aligned, adaptable, and moving.

Here's what's included:

  • Two live sessions per month via Zoom
  • Between-session support via email and WhatsApp
  • A structured Business Needs Assessment at the start — so the work begins from an accurate picture of where you are, not assumptions

Group Facilitation & Retreats

Like Individual Advisory, this work begins before the session itself. Discovery interviews and pre-session planning ensure our time together is more than just a good conversation.

Here's what's included:

  • Full business needs assessment
  • A custom agenda built around what your group actually needs
  • Expert facilitation through complexity and competing perspectives
  • Strategic documentation of outcomes and decisions
  • Clear next-step recommendation

Format options:

  • Half-day workshop
  • Full-day retreat
  • Two-day retreat

 Meet Your Guide

For more than 30 years, Tana Plewes has helped leaders and organizations see what others miss. While many advisors focus on solving visible problems, Tana helps uncover the patterns, assumptions, and system dynamics that create them. That perspective has helped business owners, executives, boards, educators, and organizations navigate growth, resolve complex challenges, and make decisions with greater confidence.

Her work is grounded in a simple belief: When you can see clearly, everything moves differently. That philosophy became The Possibility Process — the framework that underpins every advisory engagement, facilitation, retreat, and business diagnostic. Clients often describe the experience as seeing their business or organization clearly for the first time.

Tana holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and a Professional Certificate in Advanced Facilitation Practices from Royal Roads University, with advanced study in Indigenous knowledge, decolonization, and reconciliation informed by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. She is also a Certified Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and a Certified Dreaming Room™ Facilitator.

More important than any credential is the way she works: listening deeply, asking better questions, recognizing patterns others overlook, and creating the conditions for people to move forward together with clarity and confidence.

In Their Own Words...

Working with Tana has been nothing short of transformational. As an educator stepping into the world of business to launch a brand-new consulting company, I came in with vision and passion, but without a roadmap. When I look at what we’ve accomplished in just our first year of business, it is truly astounding. I never imagined this kind of growth or impact was possible so soon, and I know we’re just getting started.

The amazing place we are now would never have been possible without the challenging, uncomfortable work we did with you! In reading, there is something we call ‘escape velocity’. We get the foundation to students and get them off the launch pad then let them go and they continue to soar. That is what you did for us!

There’s no handbook on how to run a business, but Tana simplifies the process. Every time a challenge comes up, she helps me discover a solution. Ten times out of ten. She listens, paints a picture, and reiterates it in steps so you can achieve it. Depending on how far I want to go, how big I want to get, and what I want to accomplish, she works with me in a way where she can walk me through coming up with a plan and executing it.

  • You lead from clarity instead of reacting from pressure

Frequently Asked Questions

"How do I know if Strategic Advisory is right for me?
Strategic Advisory is most effective for leaders who are ready to get honest about what isn't working and committed to doing something about it. If you're navigating real complexity — in your business, your organization, or your leadership — and you're ready for a thinking partner who can help you see more clearly, this is designed for you. The discovery call is where we figure out whether it's the right fit. We also recommend you review our Code of Honour before reaching out.
"What is Strategic Advisory?"
Strategic Advisory is ongoing thought partnership for leaders and organizations navigating growth, complexity, and high-stakes decisions. It combines regular working sessions, between-session support, and a structured needs assessment — designed to help you see what's invisible, align what matters, and move forward with confidence.
"What's the difference between Strategic Advisory and consulting?"
Consultants typically tell you what to do. Strategic Advisory is different — it's an ongoing thinking partnership where we work alongside you to diagnose what's really happening, identify your highest-leverage opportunities, and design practical paths forward. The goal isn't to hand you a report. It's to build your capacity to lead more effectively and make better decisions over time.
"Do you work with people in my industry?"
We've worked with leaders across industries—industrial companies, service-based businesses, nonprofits, healthcare, manufacturing, and more. The principles of effective leadership and business systems are universal. What matters more than industry is whether we're a good fit personally and professionally. That's what the discovery call is for.
"How long do most clients work with you?"
It varies. Some clients engage for a focused period to navigate a specific transition or challenge. Others stay for years because they value having a trusted thinking partner as their organization grows. There's no minimum commitment — the engagement continues as long as it's delivering value.
"What if I need to pause?"
Life and business are unpredictable. If you need to step away for a month or longer, just let us know. There are no penalties or obligations. When you're ready to resume, we pick up where we left off.

 Our Commitment to You

arrow_drop_down_circle
Divider Text
Strategic Advisory is a partnership built on trust and results. That's why we don't lock you into long-term contracts or require prepayment for months in advance. You pay month-to-month. If at any point the coaching isn't delivering value, you can pause or end the engagement—no penalties, no questions asked.

Why? Because it only works when you're committed and when it's actually helping. If you're not seeing results or if the timing isn't right, I'd rather you save your money than continue out of obligation.

My goal is simple: to help you lead more effectively and build a business that works. If I'm not doing that, we shouldn't be working together. Questions? Email support@possibility.ca
