Tana Plewes

MA, Author, Systems Analyst & Founder

Tana is a business transformation strategist and founder of the Discovery Centre. With roots in family business, marine operations, and community economic development, Tana brings over 25 years of experience helping leaders build resilient, people-powered enterprises. She is the creator of the Possibility Heatmap, a 360-degree business diagnostic tool that reveals hidden performance gaps and shows business owners how to separate the needs of the business from the wants of the people—while integrating both for long-term success. Tana holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership and a Professional Certificate in Advanced Facilitation Practices from Royal Roads University, a program that emphasizes Indigenous knowledge, decolonization, and reconciliation as outlined by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. She is also a Certified Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and a Certified Dreaming Room™ facilitator.

Hannah Chiste

Operations Manager

Hannah is a systems architect and tech strategist. With 6+ years of building thoughtfully designed online infrastructure, she specializes in helping experts systemize and monetize their knowledge through digital products, online courses and coaching programs. Hannah has a gift for translating complex technical jargon into a clear visual roadmap, bridging the gap between technology and business strategy. She holds a diploma in Renewable Resource Management, and has a background in web design, digital marketing and copywriting. Her expertise in streamlining operations and optimizing workflows empowers our clients to scale with confidence and clarity.

Shawn Bonnough

Lead Facilitator

Shawn is an entrepreneur, educator, business coach, and founder of Velocity Training with 10,000+ hours of classroom facilitation and extensive experience in sustainable development. He excels at engaging learners through storytelling and creative knowledge transfer, and has worked in collaboration with universities, government agencies, First Nations, and NGOs to design and implement impactful training programs. Shawn has served as an associate professor at Royal Roads University and as a trainer for universities, colleges, and non-profits. His expertise extends to keynote speaking on topics such as corporate storytelling, grant writing, reconciliation, sustainability, and food security. With a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University and additional certifications in tourism and destination management, Shawn combines advanced critical thinking skills with an innate ability to connect people, ideas, and resources to drive meaningful outcomes.

Advisor, AI & Workforce Innovation

Jeff is a bridge between emerging technology and human potential. With a career spanning the private sector, post-secondary education, and public service, he brings systems-level insight into how organizations—and the people within them—can adapt and thrive in a rapidly evolving economy. As founder of Positive Futures, Jeff helps leaders navigate the complex realities of AI adoption. His approach goes beyond strategy—he focuses on the practical systems, tools, and mindsets employees need to remain relevant, engaged, and valued as work transforms. At Discovery Centre, Jeff serves as a trusted advisor on digital enablement and workforce resilience. He supports our mission to equip business owners with the clarity and capacity to lead through change—so their teams can step confidently into the future of work.

Jemm Pedrajas

Creative Virtual Assistant

Jemm brings a unique blend of psychological insight and design sensibility to everything she creates. With a degree in Psychology and a deep passion for visual communication, she helps leaders translate their ideas into designs that inform, inspire, and align with their deeper purpose. Since joining Discovery Centre in 2024, Jemm has become the quiet engine behind many of our most visually impactful deliverables—from video edits and branded templates to user-friendly documents and clean, intuitive digital layouts. Her work doesn’t just look good—it brings order, clarity, and cohesion to complex ideas. Her goal is to turn ideas into visually engaging and well-organized outputs that make a real difference for the people she works with.
